Strawberry Cream Scones

Yields 6 scones

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

  • 6 tablespoons butter, cold, cut into pieces

  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, chopped

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon water

Directions

  1. SIFT together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

  2. CUT the butter into the flour using a pastry blender or your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. MIX the strawberries into the flour mixture. Set aside.

  4. WHISK together the heavy cream, 1 egg, and the vanilla extract in a separate bowl.

  5. FOLD the cream mixture into the flour mixture until it combines, then roll it out to a 1½-inch thickness.

  6. USE a round cookie cutter to cut the scones.

  7. BRUSH the scones with an egg wash made from 1 egg and the water. Set aside.

  8. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 350°F, and press Start/Pause.

  9. LINE the preheated inner basket with parchment paper.

  10. PLACE the scones on top of the parchment paper and cook for 12 minutes at 350°F, until golden brown.

Ginger Blueberry Scones

Yields 6 scones

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, finely grated

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon water

Directions

  1. SIFT together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

  3. MIX the blueberries and ginger into the flour mixture. Set aside.

  7. BRUSH the scones with an egg wash made from 1 egg and the water. Set aside.

  8. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 350°F, and press Start/Pause.

  9. LINE the preheated inner basket with parchment paper and place the scones on top.

  10. COOK for 12 minutes at 350°F, until golden brown.

Baked Potted Egg

Yields 3 servings

Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray

  • 3 eggs

  • 6 slices smoked streaky bacon, diced

  • 2 cups baby spinach, washed

  • ⅓ cup heavy cream

  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 350°F, and press Start/Pause.

  2. SPRAY three 3-inch ramekins with nonstick cooking spray.

  3. ADD 1 egg to each greased ramekin.

  4. COOK the bacon in a pan until crispy, about 5 minutes.

  5. ADD the spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.

  6. MIX in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  7. POUR the cream mixture on top of the eggs.

  8. PLACE the ramekins into the preheated air fryer and cook for 4 minutes at 350°F, until the egg white is fully set.

  9. SEASON to taste with salt and pepper.

French Toast Sticks

Yields 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 slices white bread, 1½ inches thick, preferably stale

  • 2 eggs

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Nonstick cooking spray

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Maple syrup, for serving

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Directions

  1. CUT each slice of bread into thirds making 12 pieces. Set aside.

  2. WHISK together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla.

  3. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 350°F, and press Start/Pause. Allow to heat up.

  4. DIP the bread sticks into the egg mixture and arrange into the preheated air fryer. Spray the French toast sticks liberally with cooking spray.

  5. COOK the French toast sticks for 10 minutes at 350°F. Flip the sticks halfway through cooking.

  6. MIX together the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.

  7. COAT the French toast sticks in the cinnamon sugar mixture when done cooking.

  8. SERVE with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar.

Muffin Breakfast Sandwich

Yields 1 serving

Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray

  • 1 slice white cheddar cheese

  • 1 slice Canadian bacon

  • 1 English muffin, split

  • 1 tablespoon hot water

  • 1 large egg

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. SPRAY the inside of a 3-ounce ramekin with cooking spray and place into the Cosori Air Fryer.

  2. SELECT Preheat, adjust to 320°F, and press Start/Pause.

  3. ADD the cheese and Canadian bacon to 1 half of the English muffin.

  4. PLACE both halves of the muffin into the preheated air fryer.

  5. POUR the hot water and egg into the heated ramekin and season with salt and pepper.

  6. SELECT Bread, adjust to 10 minutes, and press Start/Pause.

  7. TAKE the English muffins out after 7 minutes, leaving the egg for the full time.

  8. ASSEMBLE your sandwich by placing the cooked egg on top of the English muffin and serve.

Coffee Streusel Muffins

Yields 6 muffins

Ingredients

Crumb Topping:

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • 1½ tablespoons light brown sugar

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Muffins

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup light brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ⅛ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Nonstick cooking spray

Directions

Muffins:

  1. MIX all the crumb topping ingredients together until it forms coarse crumbs. Set aside.

  2. COMBINE together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.

  3. WHISK the sour cream, butter, egg, and vanilla together in a separate bowl until well combined.

  4. MIX the wet ingredients into the dry until well combined.

  5. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 350°F, and press Start/Pause.

  6. GREASE muffin cups with cooking spray and pour batter in until cups are ¾ full.

  7. SPRINKLE the top of the muffins with the crumb topping.

  8. PLACE the muffin cups into the preheated air fryer. You may need to work in batches.

  9. COOK the muffins at 350°F for 12 minutes.

Stuffed French Toast

Yields 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 slice brioche bread, 2½ inches thick, preferably stale

  • 4 ounces cream cheese

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Nonstick cooking spray

  • Pistachios, chopped, for topping

  • Maple syrup, for serving

Directions

  1. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 350°F, and press Start/Pause.

  2. CUT a slit in the middle of the brioche slice.

  3. STUFF the inside of the slit with cream cheese. Set aside.

  4. WHISK together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

  5. SOAK the stuffed French toast in egg mixture for 10 seconds on each side.

  6. SPRAY each side of the French toast with cooking spray.

  7. PLACE the French toast in the preheated air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 350°F.

  8. REMOVE the French toast carefully with a spatula when done cooking.

  9. SERVE topped with chopped pistachios and maple syrup.

BBQ Bacon

Yields 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons chili powder

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin

  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 4 slices bacon, halved

Directions

  1. MIX together the seasonings until well combined.

  2. DREDGE the bacon in the seasoning until fully coated. Set aside.

  3. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 320°F, and press Start/Pause.

  4. PLACE the bacon into the preheated air fryer.

  5. SELECT Bacon and press Start/Pause.

Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (7 inches)

  • 1 ounce low-moisture mozzarella cheese

  • 2 slices smoked ham

  • 1 egg

  • 1½ tablespoons cilantro, chopped

Directions

  1. BRUSH olive oil on top of the premade pizza dough.

  2. ADD mozzarella cheese and smoked ham onto the dough.

  3. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer, adjust to 350°F, and press Start/Pause.

  4. PLACE the pizza into the preheated air fryer and cook for 8 minutes at 350°F.

  5. REMOVE baskets after 5 minutes and crack the egg on top of the pizza.

  6. REPLACE baskets into the air fryer and finish cooking. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve.

Oatmeal with Berries & Almonds

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1½ cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch salt
  • Light brown sugar, for topping
  • Fresh raspberries, for topping
  • Fresh blueberries, for topping
  • Toasted almonds, for topping

Directions

  1. ADD oats, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt to the Cosori Pressure Cooker.
  2. SECURE THE LID on the pressure cooker, making sure the pressure release valve is in the locked position.
  3. SELECT Porridge, set time for 2 minutes, and press the Start/Cancel.
  4. QUICK RELEASE when done cooking and carefully remove lid.
  5. STIR oatmeal, portion into bowls, and top with brown sugar.
  6. ALLOW the heat from the porridge to melt the brown sugar.
  7. TOP with fresh raspberries, blueberries, and toasted almonds. 

Pork & Ginger Congee

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces ground pork
  • 1½-inch piece ginger, peeled & grated 
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup uncooked jasmine rice, washed & rinsed
  • 4 cups water
  • Salt & white pepper, to taste
  • Peanuts, chopped, for garnish
  • Scallions, for garnish

Directions

  1. ADD all the ingredients to the Cosori Pressure Cooker and mix well.
  2. SECURE THE LID on the pressure cooker, making sure the pressure release valve is in the locked position.
  3. SELECT Porridge and press Start/Cancel.
  4. NATURAL RELEASE for 15 minutes when done cooking. Release any residual pressure that may be left in the machine and carefully remove lid.
  5. SELECT Sauté, press Start/Cancel, and cook until it reaches the desired thickness.
  6. SEASON to taste with salt and white pepper.
  7. SERVE the porridge in bowls and top with chopped peanuts, scallions, and soy sauce to taste.

Scrambled Eggs with Goat Cheese on Toast

Yields 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 16 extra large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream 
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter, divided
  • 6 ounces fresh goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 whole tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
  • Brioche bread slices, toasted and buttered

Directions

  1. SELECT Sauté on the Cosori Multicooker and press Start/Cancel.
  2. WHISK the eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and 2 tablespoons of butter together. Set aside.
  3. MELT the remaining butter in the preheated multicooker. Once melted, add the egg mixture.
  4. STIR the eggs constantly to allow them to cook slowly until they are thick and runny.
  5. MIX in the goat cheese and diced tomatoes until cheese is melted through.
  6. ADD in chives and mix well.
  7. SERVE on top of toasted brioche.

Scottish Porridge

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • Light brown sugar, for topping
  • Bananas, sliced, for topping
  • Toasted walnuts, chopped, for topping

Directions

  1. SELECT Boil (N) on the Cosori Multicooker, adjust the time to 10 minutes, and press Start/Cancel. Allow to heat up.
  2. ADD in the oats, milk, sugar, and salt. Mix well and cover with lid.
  3. COOK the oats until timer is done or until the porridge has reached desired thickness.
  4. PLACE the porridge into bowls for serving and top with brown sugar.
  5. ALLOW the residual heat from the porridge to melt the brown sugar.
  6. TOP with sliced bananas and toasted walnuts.

Spinach, Bacon & Gruyere Breakfast Strata

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1½ cups yellow onion, chopped
  • 6 ounces fresh spinach, chopped
  • 8 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes

Directions

  1. SELECT Brown on the Cosori Multicooker, change the temperature to 400°F, and press Start/Cancel. Allow the multicooker to heat up.
  2. COOK the bacon until crispy and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Press Start/Cancel. Remove bacon from pot and set aside.
  3. SELECT Sauté and press Start/Cancel. Add the garlic and onion. Sauté until golden and fragrant, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add in the spinach and sauté for 4 minutes, until wilted down.
  4. REMOVE the vegetables from the multicooker and mix with the bacon. Set aside your ingredients and clean the multicooker pot.
  5. WHISK together the eggs, milk, cream, cheese, nutmeg, ground mustard, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  6. ADD the bacon and vegetable mixture and the bread cubes to the egg mixture and stir until well combined. Set aside.
  7. SELECT Bake, change the temperature to 325°F and press Start/Cancel. Allow the multicooker to heat up.
  8. ADD the strata to the preheated multicooker, cover, and bake 25 to 30 minutes.

Homemade Yogurt

Yields 8-10 servings

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 8 hours 15 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 8 cups whole or 2% milk
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt with active bacterial cultures

Directions

*Before making the yogurt, it is important to sterilize all equipment you will be using. This helps ensure any unwanted bacteria or flavors keep from developing in the yogurt.

  1. ADD the milk to the Cosori Multicooker.
  2. SELECT Boil (H), and press Start/Cancel. Bring the milk to a boil or to at least 180°F.
  3. COOL the milk to at least 110°F, then transfer the milk to a separate bowl. Clean the multicooker pot.
  4. WHISK in the yogurt culture making sure that the culture is well incorporated. Add the yogurt back into the clean multicooker pot and cover with lid.
  5. SELECT Yogurt and press Start/Cancel. You can set the time to a minimum of 4 hours or a maximum of 24 hours. The longer you incubate your yogurt, the tangier and thicker it will be.
  6. SERVE warm or store in the fridge for later use.

Yogurt Parfait

Yields 3-4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups yogurt (see Homemade Yogurt)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups mixed berries
  • 1½ cups granola
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Directions 

  1. MIX the liquid (whey) on top of the yogurt with the solid yogurt until smooth.
  2. MIX the vanilla and honey into the yogurt.
  3. ADD about ⅓ cup of berries to the bottom of each.
  4. ADD in ½ cup of yogurt on top of the berries.
  5. TOP with granola and more berries.
  6. GARNISH with mint leaves and serve.

Corned Beef Hash & Eggs

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ½ medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2½ cups cooked corned beef, chopped  
  • 2½ cups cooked potatoes, chopped
  • 3 fresh sage leaves, chopped
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup parsley, freshly chopped 
  • 4 large eggs, fried or poached
  • Chives, freshly chopped, for garnish

Directions

  1. SELECT Brown on the Cosori Multicooker and press Start/Cancel. Allow the multicooker to heat up.
  2. ADD the butter and oil and heat up for 30 seconds.
  3. ADD the onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. MIX in the the corned beef and potatoes, then adjust the temperature to 400°F. Press Start/Cancel.
  5. COOK the corned beef and potatoes on one side for 7 to 10 minutes, until nicely browned. Flip and cook 7 to 10 minutes on the other side.
  6. ADD in the sage and thyme and cook for 1 minute.
  7. SEASON to taste with salt and pepper, and mix in the freshly chopped parsley.
  8. SERVE with eggs and garnish with freshly chopped chives.

Maple-Glazed Bacon

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1½ teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 slices bacon

Directions

  1. MIX together the maple syrup, mustard, brown sugar, and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. SELECT Oven Roast, adjust the time to 1 hour, and press Start/Cancel. Wait until the multicooker has heated up.
  3. COOK the bacon for 15 minutes until bacon is crispy, basting the bacon with the maple glaze every 5 minutes. Work in batches. After each batch, wipe the pan clean to avoid burning of glaze. 
  4. ENJOY with some eggs and toast or just by itself.

Vanilla French Toast with Fresh Berries

Yields 6 servings

Ingredients

Maple Butter:

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

French Toast:

  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • A pinch of salt
  • 6 slices of brioche bread, 2 inches thick
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh berries, for topping
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish

Directions

Maple Butter:

  1. MIX together the softened butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined. Set aside.

French Toast:

Southwest Sausage & Cheddar Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 large eggs, cooked as desired, for serving
  • Red bell peppers, freshly chopped, for garnish
  • Scallions, freshly chopped, for garnish

Directions

  1. SELECT Brown on the Cosori Multicooker and press Start/Cancel. Wait until the multicooker has heated up.
  2. BROWN the sausage with the taco seasoning in the multicooker for about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain and set aside. Allow the multicooker to cool down.
  3. SELECT Boil (L), adjust to 212°F, add the water, and set the time to 20 minutes. Cover with the lid and press Start/Cancel. Wait until the multicooker heats up.
  4. ADD the oats, mix, and cover. Press Start/Cancel.
  5. SELECT Simmer, adjust the time to 30 minutes, and press Start/Cancel.
  6. COOK the oatmeal, stirring occasionally. Cook longer on Boil for a thicker consistency.
  7. MIX in the sharp cheddar until it is melted throughout.
  8. SERVE in bowls with the sausage, an egg, chopped red bell pepper, and scallions.
