Vanilla French Toast with Fresh Berries

Maple Butter:

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

French Toast:

  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • A pinch of salt
  • 6 slices of brioche bread, 2 inches thick
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh berries, for topping
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish


Maple Butter:

  1. MIX together the softened butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined. Set aside.

French Toast:

  1. WHISK together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. SOAK the bread in the egg mixture for 15 seconds on each side.
  3. SELECT Brown on the Cosori Multicooker and press Start/Cancel. Wait until the multicooker has heated up.
  4. MELT the butter in the multicooker and sauté the French toast until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. You may need to work in batches.
  5. SERVE with maple butter and top with fresh berries and powdered sugar.
