General Tso's Chicken

  • 1½-2 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 6 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 7 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 scallion, chopped


  1. ADD cubed chicken, rice vinegar, 6 tbs soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper to the Cosori Presasure Cooker, and stir well.
  2. SECURE THE LID on the pressure cooker, and make sure the pressure release valve is in the lock position.
  3. SELECT Poultry and press On/Start.
  4. QUICK RELEASE, when done cooking and carefully remove the lid.
  5. SELECT Sauté/Brown and press On/Start.
  6. WHISK the cornstarch and 1 tbs of soy sauce in a small bowl and add it to the pot. Mix well.
  7. COOK until mixture turns thick and bubbly, about 2 minutes.
  8. SERVE with chopped scallion.
